It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Not a Substitute for Professional Advice
The information provided on this website — including product descriptions, educational content, and usage guides — is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical or dermatological advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or board-certified dermatologist before beginning any new skincare treatment, particularly if you have an existing skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking medication, or have a history of adverse reactions to skincare products or procedures.
Individual Results
Results from the Ascēa Micro-Infusion System vary from person to person depending on factors including skin type, age, skin condition, consistency of use, and individual healing response. Micro-stamping will not completely or permanently eliminate fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, or pigmentation. Results are cumulative and require consistent use over a minimum of 8–12 weeks. Testimonials and reviews displayed on this website reflect individual experiences and should not be interpreted as typical or guaranteed outcomes. Additional sessions or complementary treatments may be needed to achieve your desired results.
Risks & Safety
Although the Ascēa Micro-Infusion System operates at a shallow 0.25mm depth — significantly less invasive than clinical micro-needling treatments — any device that penetrates the skin carries inherent risks. These risks are low when the product is used as directed, but it is important that you understand them before use.
Infection: Infection from micro-stamping at this depth is very rare. However, bacterial, viral, or fungal infection can occur any time the skin barrier is compromised. To minimise risk, always use a new sterile tip for each session, begin with clean dry skin, and avoid touching your face unnecessarily after treatment. If you notice signs of infection — including unexpected redness, warmth, swelling, pus, or pain that worsens rather than improves — discontinue use and contact a healthcare professional immediately.
Pigmentation changes: Because micro-stamping at 0.25mm does not penetrate to the layer of skin containing melanocytes, the risk of hyperpigmentation is very low. However, failure to protect your skin from UV exposure after treatment can increase this risk. You must apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen for at least 48 hours after each session and avoid prolonged direct sun exposure during this period. Do not pick or peel the skin during the healing process.
Allergic reaction: The micro-stamping tips are made from sterile, hypoallergenic materials, making a reaction to the device itself extremely unlikely. However, the serum delivered during treatment contains active ingredients (including Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Acetyl Tetrapeptides) that could cause a reaction in individuals with specific sensitivities. Because micro-stamping increases the penetration of topical ingredients, it is possible to experience heightened sensitivity to products used on the skin after treatment. If you experience an allergic reaction — including hives, excessive redness, burning, or swelling — discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
Redness, itching, and minor irritation: Mild redness, a slight prickling or warm sensation, and minor skin tightness are normal responses to micro-stamping and typically subside within a few hours. These are signs that the treatment is working as intended. If redness, itching, or swelling persists beyond 24 hours, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
Scarring: At the 0.25mm depth used by this device, the risk of scarring is extremely low in normal skin. However, individuals who are prone to keloid or hypertrophic scarring should not use this product, as any form of controlled skin injury may trigger an exaggerated healing response. If you have a history of raised or thickened scarring, consult your dermatologist before use.
Who Should Not Use This Product
Do not use the Ascēa Micro-Infusion System if you have any of the following: active inflammatory acne, active cold sores or herpes simplex, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis flare-ups, keloid or hypertrophic scarring tendency, vitiligo, open wounds, sunburn, or irritated skin, or if you are currently taking blood-thinning medication. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare provider before use. For a detailed explanation of each contraindication, please refer to the "Who should not use this device?" section on our product page.
Proper Use
This product must be used in accordance with the instructions provided in the How to Use guide available on this website. Misuse — including reuse of disposable tips, use on broken or irritated skin, use over active infections, dragging rather than stamping, or failure to follow aftercare instructions — may increase the risk of adverse outcomes including irritation, infection, or scarring. Ascēa accepts no liability for outcomes resulting from misuse of the product or failure to follow the provided usage instructions.
Product Claims
References to the benefits of micro-needling and micro-infusion technology on this website are based on published dermatological research into the general principles of collagen induction therapy and transdermal serum delivery. Specific claims about the Ascēa Micro-Infusion System are based on the known mechanism of action of micro-stamping at 0.25mm depth and the established properties of the included serum ingredients. These claims have not been evaluated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia or the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States.
